This site allows the user to study the operating behavior of a multicomponent isothermal flash drum.
The user specifies the feed compositions and operating parameters (T & P) for flash drum. In the analysis the vapor and liquid phases are taken to be ideal.
For a given operating temperature (pressure), the permissible
range for the operating pressure (temperature) is determined for vapor and liquid to be in equilibrium in the drum.
